Vredestein has established themselves as a premium European brand that emphasizes the integration of safety and design, and many of their tires’ tread patterns and sidewalls are styled by legendary Italian design house, Giugiaro Design. Synthesizing the style of Giugiaro’s artists with the technical knowledge of the Vredestein engineers has allowed the company to create a line of tires to complement high-end vehicles from today and the classics from yesterday.
In addition to the tires for classic vehicles available through Tire Rack, Vredestein also produces a full line of tires for cars, crossovers, sport utility vehicles and light trucks. Outside the world of passenger vehicles, Vredestein manufactures tires for bicycles, agricultural tires and tires for industrial equipment.
Vredestein was founded in 1908 in the Netherlands. At that time, the company specialized in a variety of rubber products, including shoe heels, tennis balls, floor coverings and indoor soccer balls. Currently, Vredestein is owned by the Indian company Apollo Tyres Ltd.
