SCCA Time Trials National Tour & Championship

To support the program, and all of its participants, Tire Rack is the title sponsor of the Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour and the Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals held each year in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour presented by Hagerty includes events across the U.S. before the September season finale in Kentucky.

What is the Time Trials program? It’s about the quest for speed. It’s a place for mechanical creativity, driver development and envelope-pushing. The sport is based on creating a space where drivers can push their own development and have a consistent way to measure their progress. There are classes and trophies, but the focus is on going faster than the time before, learning more about driving than you knew before and performing better than you did before. The SCCA calls it the “Same Team Approach.” The Time Trials program is founded on the idea that every person on site — from the event lead, to drivers, to flaggers and to the family and friends that come along — are there united in the pursuit of fun with cars. The on-track experience is facilitated. Each group has a coach and each session has a debrief. The coach's job is to make sure everyone approaches the event with the same shared goals in mind: clean laps and safe, fun, fair competition.

Yet competition is only one aspect of the experience. Each event is crafted to create an atmosphere where every participant has the opportunity to enjoy the event regardless of finishing position. Events are designed to be highly engaging, accessible and inclusive. Camping at the track is encouraged. Family and friends are welcome and food and drink is available on site.

Additionally, Tire Rack also offers Time Trials participants access to the Tire Rack Performance Rewards Program. This program allows entrants to order select products from Tire Rack in preparation for their Time Trials event, and then receive rebates in the form of a gift card after the events completion.
