    Purchase process was quick and easy. The wheel finish quality is not great. The finish coating is not durable, and is showing signs of wear on all 4 wheels after just 3 months of driving.

    I was looking for something different for the Evo when moving to separate summer/winter sets. I don't love low-count spokes on the AWD sports sedans (that I might otherwise like on a couple, muscle car, etc.) but "everyone" has silver, black, or copper/bronze/gold "BBS-style" wheels on theirs when they go aftermarket. The factory 12-spoke are fine, but render a lot of the other options largely indiscernible (except by color). Then I saw these machined face, "dark tint" rims and was intrigued. Not a crazy difference, but something just a little unique. They are gorgeous in person and the fine finish quality is right there. They have a slightly wider offset; just enough to make the car sit nicely, fill out the fenders better, without any risk of rubbing or impact to on-road feel. Their weight is well within street performance expectations without being concerned with damage on poorly maintained New York roads. And the price was completely reasonable.

    I can't imagine being any happier with these rims. They are exactly what I wanted (and I didn't even know I wanted them until I saw them... "Dark tinted" what is that?! It's awesome, that's what that is!)
