FIND TIRES FOR YOUR TOYOTA

Toyota tires are designed to achieve optimal handling, performance, fuel efficiency, and safety. Eventually, the time will come when you will replace your original Toyota tires with a brand-new set. The good news is you do not have to stick with the same factory tires if you don't want to.Tire Rack offers a wide range of aftermarket options to choose from when you need to replace your existing Toyota tires. From original equipment to high-performance upgrades, you are sure to find a compatible replacement for your Toyota vehicle. Read through the Tire Ratings Charts & Reviews to help you decide which set is best for you.

What Brand of Tires Does Toyota Use?
Toyota does not use only one tire manufacturer for all of its vehicles. Instead, Toyota works with several brand-name tire makers to source original equipment tires for each vehicle model. Suppliers such as Bridgestone, Dunlop, Michelin, Toyo, and Hankook typically make Toyota tires. The brand of tires that comes with your vehicle will vary depending on the year, model, wheel size, and trim level. For example, a 2022 Toyota Tacoma 2WD with 16" wheels comes with all-season Firestone Destination LE 2 or Kumho Crugen HT51 tires. Meanwhile, the 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro is equipped with on/off-road Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tires.
How Long Do Factory Toyota Tires Last?
The number of miles you get out of your factory Toyota tires depends on many factors, such as personal driving habits, road conditions, and climate. While original equipment factory-installed tires normally do not offer mileage warranties, Toyota tires are made to be durable and should last between 30,000 and 60,000 miles. Maintaining proper tire inflation and regularly rotating your tires every 5,000 miles will make them last longer. It's recommended to replace your Toyota tires every six years regardless of mileage.
How Good Are Toyota Tires?
Toyota chooses tires with performance and quality in mind. Replacing your worn-out Toyota tires with the original equipment tires is always a suitable option, but it isn't the only choice. There are many great aftermarket tires for your Toyota vehicle that might offer better value. Or you might want to upgrade to performance tires for improved handling, especially if you frequently drive in rainy conditions.
Toyota tires may be good, but don't feel the need to stick to the OEM option.

Does Toyota Make Tires?
Like other automakers, Toyota does not make its own tires. There is a Japanese tire manufacturer named Toyo. Some Toyota vehicle models may come equipped with Toyo tires, don't let that confuse you. Despite having a similar name to Toyota, these companies are not related.
As is standard industry practice, Toyota sources its vehicle tires from various established tire manufacturers. This means consumers don't have to buy tires from Toyota directly but can instead choose from numerous tire replacement options.
Although you may opt to buy the same set of tires that your vehicle came with, there may be better options available. Find and order a new, upgraded set of tires from Tire Rack to improve your driving experience.
