The Laredo HT is Uniroyal's Highway All-Season tire for the drivers of pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, vans and commercial vehicles who want long-lasting comfort and all–season traction on dry, wet and wintry roads, even in light snow.
The Laredo HT utilizes an all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric 5-rib design with larger outboard elements for increased steering response and dry grip. The angled block design is designed to deliver a quiet ride and consistent tread wear. Large lateral notches create biting edges and void space to channel water into the tire's four circumferential grooves for stability in wet conditions and hydroplaning resistance. Wet and snow traction are enhanced by a wide array of sipes added to tread elements for increased confidence in wintry weather.
Internal construction of the Laredo HT consists of twin steel belts supported by a dual-ply polyester body casing to manage ride comfort and durability. A single, nylon reinforcement ply is included for increased high-speed capability and responsiveness.
