The Ecsta Sport S features a specialized summer compound shaped into an asymmetric tread pattern, incorporating a solid center rib to enhance high-speed stability, braking, and traction. Its reinforced outboard shoulder delivers the rigidity and durability required for precise handling during spirited driving. Lateral grooves efficiently channel water away to maintain grip in wet corners, while four primary circumferential grooves, paired with diagonal micro-sipes, help expel water from the contact patch to reduce the risk of hydroplaning.
Internally, the tire is built with a two-ply polyester casing, reinforced by twin wide steel belts and a polyamide cap ply, ensuring enhanced durability and responsive high-speed performance.
