The high void and lateral grooves promote efficient water evacuation to the open shoulder notches, assisting in hydroplaning resistance and wet traction on paved surfaces. A high void ratio, plenty of sipes, and copious biting edges are designed to deliver confident traction in light snow.
Each size of the Renegade R/T features a striking dual sidewall design, giving drivers the option between wedge-shaped lugs with a bold Flaming Demon pattern or an aggressive, mud-slinging sidewall with dagger-shaped lugs. Both designs enhance traction and offer an extra level of sidewall protection.
The internal construction of the Renegade R/T consists of a durable, three-ply polyester casing and sidewall for strength and durability. A two-ply, nylon reinforcement above two steel belts further increases handling response, along with providing high-speed stability.

These are great tires that get great traction for on-road purposes. The best thing about them is how they ride. Perfectly smooth,quiet, and balance very easily… they are really impressive. Have never broken loose in the rain or anything, traction has always been good. They now have 42k miles on them and down to 4/32nds tread depth. In my experience they will not last the 70k like Bridgestone sets but they will ride great and be very safe all the way down to worn tread. Even at their current depth I have no traction or safety issues, but will need to replace before too long.
