The ATX-850 utilizes a durable compound molded into a symmetric tread pattern, with large, independent tread blocks that provide capable grip in dry conditions. Biting elements in the upper sidewall area assist with loose terrain traction and provide added puncture protection. Angled lateral grooves and a high void ratio enhance water and mud evacuation, while multiple biting edges and multi-angle sipes work together to provide traction in slippery conditions, including light snow.
