The Eibach Pro-Kit lowering spring set improves your vehicle's looks and performance. Pro-Kit springs lower the vehicle's center of gravity, reducing body roll in the turns, dive under braking, squat during acceleration and give the car a more solid, secure feel at all times. Pro-Kit Springs also minimize the ugly fender gap that makes a car look "lifted." Eibach Pro-Kit Springs..." The look that performs."

Eibach recommends an Alignment Kit for some applications, which can both extend tire life and improve handling.

I actually have a Ford Racing strut support installed with these. They lowered the car about 1.5" all the way around. Makes the car look much better. I''ve got slightly oversized tires (255-45-17 vs. the stock 245-45-17 s) and never a rub or problem even with my rear 1" spacers on the back wheels. Much better dive resistance on hard braking. Great handling responsiveness, and I didn''t notice any degradation in the ride. Extremely pleased with this product!

Installed the Eibach Pro-Kit springs along with the Eibach Sway Bar set in January. Initial lowering wasn''t up to my personal standards (thought about getting the Sportline), but after the car racked up a few hundered miles, the stance settled in perfect. Car feels like its on rails, particularly due to the setting on the sway bars (track setting). Car lost vitually all the dip/dive it had on stock set up. Ride quality is stiff, but not unbearable (attributed to the 45-series Bridgestone Potenzas). This is also my second vehicle with this setup (2007 Ford Fusion with Eibach Pro-Kit). Just purchased a 2nd Genesis Coupe 3.8 and will install the exact setup this week. Great product and highly recommend to anyone who wants a more aggressive ride. As for the gentleman who rated the kit a 4 on his Porsche 911, the undrivable result more than likely is not due to the springs. It''s due to the combination of the spring rate, OEM sway bar stiffness, and the OEM shock rate. The 911 will not respond well without upgrading the sway bars to compensate for the increased spring rate. This is due to the rear-engine, rear-drive setup of the car. I own a 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera that I use for auto-crossing. All 911 owners should know that its handling characteristics are different from most sports cars today. I have a Koni/H&R shock/spring setup with RUF-tuned sway bars. Once the bars were installed, the off-throttle oversteer was nearly gone, as well as the on-throttle understeer.

Initially installed the eibach pro kit springs with the stock shocks which lowered the car and gave it a nice stance but the ride felt too "soft and floaty". This was probably because my original shocks soon blew out after installing the springs so I decided to shop for replacement struts and shocks. I''ve had matched Koni yellow adjustables shocks and springs in the past on a VW Scirocco which handled great but the ride was very stiff even on the softest setting. I didn''t want to sacrifice ride comfort for handling this time though. I was hesitant to go with Bilstein sports at first because I''ve read on several online forums that they typically rode harsher than Koni. But, after reading Tire Rack''s review of Bilstein-Eibach combo,I decided to give the Bilstein sports a try.

What a difference it made! I didn''t realize how much the ride had deteriorated. The Tire Rack review was quite accurate and very helpful for me. My new setup feels only 10% to 20% stiffer than stock from what I can remember. Overall road feel is fantastic and bumps are absorbed really well. The car is my daily driver and feels like it was new again but with a little better handling this time, and a ride that is not very harsh at all. I''m very happy with the Bilsteins and should have done this a long time ago.

Form and Function - Performance Suspension Upgrades Can Deliver Both (05:23)

Considering installing performance suspension components on your vehicle to improve its looks by lowering, or to improve handling and responsiveness? A properly engineered performance suspension can do both.

But should you install lowering springs, performance dampers, stiffer anti-roll bars or maybe even full coil-overs?
