This kit is perfect for anybody looking to get a more responsive and better handling car. I ll admit that it is a fairly harsh ride now, but it s totally worth it because it s really not that bad. I ve only put a couple thousand miles on it but to me it was completely worth every penny. So if you re looking to buy a coilover kit, I suggest you really look at these first because yes they are non-adjustable but how often are you really going to adjust your ride height once you have it in the right place. You will also save about $400+. Now if you re going to take your car to the track then you should get a full coilover kit so that you can adjust your suspension. But if you re just looking for great street performance, then this is your buy

I had my mechanic install the H&R Touring Cup Suspension on my new 2014 Jetta Sportwagen. This was done in conjunction with a wheel and tire upgrade to the 17" BBS CS5 rim and Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 tires. The stock suspension and 16" wheels/tire package would be acceptable for most drivers, but I prefer a stiffer, sportier suspension with less body roll. The new setup definitely accomplishes this. The H&R Touring Cup is supposed to be less stiff and less lowering than the H&R Sport Cup. I would say that anything stiffer than the Touring Cup would likely be bad for everyday driving. If you are looking for a nice amount of lowering and a sporty suspension, this is a great compromise. The stance is just right, in my opinion. The car does not look overly modified, which is what I was going for.

I really needed a suspension refresh on my car, but buying individual bilstein shocks and struts would easily cost more than this H&R Touring Cup Kit. What sold me was the price of 599.99 and it came with shocks& springs that were suited together, AND I get to lower my car. The lowering is not too aggressive. But it provides a great stance on my OEM stock 17 in. style 68 rims. The ride did get noticeably firmer, but its not too harsh. However, driving over pot holes can make the car crash over the bumps. Handling is much improved, with significant reduction of body roll. And Steering response is much crisper and taut. Overall, pleased with my decision and money I saved versus buying individual shocks and struts. You should highly consider this kit if you are due for new shocks/ struts.
