The kit includes a specially developed progressive spring tuned explicitly for your car and then matched to custom-valved performance sport shocks. Most cup suspension kit applications will lower the ride height more than 2" for optimum handling and a super low look at an affordable price.

    I ve put close to 20k miles on my car since installing the H&R Sport Cup Kit and, overall, I m pretty happy with it. Being a kit, all of the components are matched to one another and tuned at the factory for a specific car, so it s kind of a fail-safe deal. You order the kit for your exact model car and that s it. No trial and error. I only drive on the streets, but I wouldn t hesitate for a moment to hit the track. I m sure I d be even more impressed with this setup if I ever did! There are a couple of negatives though... -The ride was/is stiffer than I expected. For whatever reason, I thought that coilovers were the stiff ones and a Cup Kit would be a happy medium. These are targeted at racing though, and that calls for a stiffer setup. There s no adjustment in them either, it is what it is. They are NOT bouncy tho, don t confuse that, just a bit stiff, meaning you feel more of the road s imperfections and you dodge anything deeper than 1/2"! It s not uncomfortable though, and I never hated it even for a minute. It just came as a surprise, that s all. -The front end didn t drop as much as advertised, even after a few thousand miles. To this day, I still wish the front end were at least 1/2" lower, but preferably a full inch! Drop hats (strut lowering caps) are the only option now. Overall, I m a happy customer and, despite the small complaints, I d still do it again. A few personal notes/suggestions: When I installed the Cup Kit, I replaced everything in my suspension with OEM or aftermarket upgrade parts. There s just no sense installing high-end struts, shocks, and springs on worn and tired suspension components, that would be ridiculous. Same with the control arms, sway bar bushings, steering components, etc. Fix it while you re there! I also installed a Neuspeed strut tower brace. This is an absolute MUST! If you don t have one on your car, GET ONE! The degree of improvement will blow your mind!

    Im not a car modification guy, saying, I m a dad who has two kids and enjoys driving. I felt my Sportwagen wasn t sporty enough and decided to add a better suspension with the H&R Sport Cup Kit and i couldn t be happier. The ride is tighter and much more fun to drive, the amount of body roll i was previously experiencing is gone. This upgrade has made my car feel like a completely different car.

    H&R springs were affordable and easy to install. After being quoted 500.00 to install at a local garage, I took it apon myself to change them out. You need a car lift and some decent tools. Luckly being former military helped, as the local auto hobby shop had everything I needed. Love the spring, they give the car a nice flat low appearance. The only drawback was when used with original tire/rim combo. The springs overwhelmed the front shocks and cause heavy rebound. This is experenced when going over long bridges that undulate at a high rate. The front of the car would reach max throw on rebound of the shock. No heavier shocks appear to be available. Now, when used with aftermarket tires with a smaller tire wall height, 75% of this issue went away. Happy customer!
