Sportline Springs are the latest development from Eibach, the leader in performance suspension components. Sportline Springs will give your car a low, race-replica look. The goal? A radical reduction in wheel well gap and improved handling. Eibach Pro-Kit Springs usually lower vehicles 1.00" -1.25" to provide the ultimate balance of cornering and ride comfort. Sportline Springs provide an increased drop typically 1.50" to 2.00". Alignment Hardware Kits are also available to cure the alignment difficulties encountered on aggressively lowered vehicles. The Sportline Alignment Kit can both extend tire life and improve handling.

Installed these for the purpose of lowering and improving the handling; the springs, combined with the new KYB OEM-replacement struts, did just that. Handling is increased tenfold, yet the ride is still comfortable. Overall, I would describe it as firm, but not offensive. Cornering attitude is improved, the car is more responsive, and all of the ride motions - in every direction - are nicely muted. For me, this is the perfect compromise between DD ride quality and performance. The car also looks great when lowered, although the front seems to be a just a slight bit higher than the rear, which takes away a bit of aggressiveness. All in all, I am a very satisfied customer.

I bought these springs for my 2005 chevy cobalt LS Sedan because I wanted a much lower stance and a more agressive handling response and this got me just that. I can almost use the top of my car for a seat now instead of leaning on the hood sort of speaking. They were very simple to install and look Great also. I am very pleased and would gladly purchase again.

For a street Mustang these are too low. I had to tuck up my exhaust as much as possible so I wouldn''t scrap and dent my exhaust system on bumps and what not. On a nice mountain road these things are nothing but a dream.... Very predictable with solid/ accurate feedback to driver. With that said if the road wasn''t paved just the other day by the god of driving, then you may notice some fun spoiling drawbacks.....For example you will, at times, have bump steer aka hitting a bump in the road and either loosing traction and turn in ability or hitting a bump and momentarily (until corrected) oversteering into a turn. Case in point... its just no fun. Issue number two (sometimes comes along with the first issue).... bumps can also completely unsettle the chassis. The only way I can describe that is the whole suspension and chassis feels like it doesn''t know what to do.... like the car''s spin has been shaken to its core and it needs just a millisecond or two to recuperate back to dominating that mountain pass.... but away from every so often high performance drawbacks and to issue number three. Which is that I know where every single decent bump and pothole is around here. I can show you where metal shavings off my $400 x-pipe can be found. I have streets that I would prefer to avoid. I''ve had to learn to go about 3 mph over some speed bumps. This shouldn''t be a part of daily driving. It is not intolerable and you will get used to these things but its still a downer on an other wise wonderful car. Unless you drive heavily on track or these springs are for your weekend toy that doesn''t see many ordinary roads I recommend Eibach''s Pro- Kit Spring Set.
