Rearward facing LED bulb and reflector system – PIAA's Reflective Facing Technology (RFT) – harnesses the entire light output and directs it into a usable beam pattern.
The PIAA 530 L.E.D. Fog Lamp Kit features a multi-surface reflector that offers a high performance fog pattern while using less power compared to a halogen light. Unlike most L.E.D. lights that position the beam straight out in a forward direction, PIAA's Reflector Facing Technology aims the light at the computer-designed, multi-surface reflector for improved lighting and better beam control resulting in greater visibility for drivers.
Each lamp uses two 3-watt L.E.D. bulbs (color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin) to produce a white beam that appears cobalt blue to oncoming traffic for added safety. The lights are compact and durable with cast-aluminum housing and polycarbonate lenses to protect the lights.
