I had purchased these before for my rsx type s and loved the feel of the pads bite on the disc. So on my civic si I say it's the same. Rotors are stock. The stopping power is awesome and there is little to no fade when I come into a corner at high speed on a hot day after driving aggressively on the back roads or highway. Their only weakness is slight dust but mainly the noise. I knew I wanted stopping power instead of luxury. So I don't mind the noise at all. It's not unbearable at all but it's just there. I highly recommend these for anyone that is mainly concerned with braking power and consistency, not noise or dust.

On instant stops not what you would expect from a cross drilled rotors and sport pads. The regular driving they are just fine but I didn't switch from my stocks to have regular brakes. Non moded Si mostly spirited driving on highway. Not happy with them and medium to high brake dust.

I drive about 50-60K per year for my job, so , I put a lot of miles on my vehicle. The Stoptech sport pads are nice, aggressive pads. They are more aggressive than the Evolution Z23/Centric pads, and slightly more aggressive than the Akebono EUro pads(OEM BMW/base Corvette fitament)--I consider the Stoptech Sports just a skosh better than the Akebono pads for spirited driving. Compared to the OEM pads on the GTI (Pagid/Texstar), they are just a notch on the aggressive side, but way less than the performance benchmark on the GTI--EBC Reds. If you want all out performance, go EBC Reds, but these are a good compromise for a DD.
