Important Note:

Brakes are a safety critical part of a motor vehicle. Brake components should be installed by a competent mechanic in a professional manner. Any incorrect installation of brake components can cause a major safety problem or an accident. If you are not a competent and qualified mechanic you should not attempt to install these products, but should take the vehicle to a vehicle dealer or competent automotive mechanic for their installation.

Brembo Premium OE Rotors are part of Brembo's High Carbon range, offering a premium alternative to the OEM rotor with several added benefits. The rotor's proprietary cast iron alloy is high in carbon, helping to greatly reduce noise and improve overall comfort. Brembo incorporates their PVT technology, which uses pillars instead of standard vanes to improve disc cooling and resist thermal cracking. Brembo's Premium OE Rotors also feature their new UV coating, a three-in-one innovation designed to provide more resistance, a pleasing aesthetic, and less environmental impact.

UV Coated Disc Innovation

When compared to discs with conventional corrosion protection, Brembo's UV coated discs ensure better resistance against corrosion, as confirmed by corrosion resistance testing in a salt spray chamber, and in moisture resistance tests. Brembo's UV coated brake rotors are ready to install right out of the box, with no need to clean the surface.

Environmental Impact

Brembo's specially developed coating system uses UV light to fix the coating, which produces considerable environmental benefits. Brembo's UV coatings are water-based and do not include the harmful solvents traditionally used in epoxy or zinc coatings. This also applies to so-called V.O.C. emissions (Volatile Organic Compounds) that cause environmental alterations and are harmful to human health. During the UV coating process, the solvent function is essentially performed by water. Since the coat hardening is performed by UV irradiation and high temperatures are not required, energy consumption is reduced. Additionally, the risk of affecting the geometric features on the disc, which may occur with other coatings applied under extremely high temperatures (more than 300 °C), is also reduced.
